The Burger Dock in Coleraine

"We tried the burger dock on 20th July following some good reviews. We visited their harbour shop early evening and found the staff friendly and engaging. The menu has a good variety of options that would suit most people. An allergy sign is on display should you have dietary requirements advising you to speak to the team. We went for the bacon brie burger and the pepper burger, doubling up for £2 extra each and adding the chips and can option for a further £3 extra each. They advise of the expected wait which for us was 10 to 15 minutes. There is limited space to stand inside whilst waiting but as it wasn't overly busy there was ample room. I was able to observe everything was made fresh to order including fresh cut chips. We took out burgers home to Portrush and the food was still hot when we opened it. The burgers were well cooked so they still had plenty of juices whilst being flavourful. The chips were crisp yet fluffy inside. The only minor thing I would say is I couldn't taste the brie, but it was present. Overall whilst you are paying a reasonably high price, I feel it is value for money in that the quality ingredients were cooked well to give you a damn good treat meal. We will definately be back and would recommend."

"A simple place with no frills but amazing food! Had the chicken goujon burger with BBQ sauce and another with garlic mayo, both dressed in a brioche bun and some salad. Brilliant. I know it sounds simple but they guys can make a great burger. You need to try this place out. Was upsold to a meal deal, which was great value and the chips were fantastic. Sounds crazy for a burger joint but not every chip place can cook good chips. Will be back."
